Find stocks, funds, and ETFs with the Deluxe Screener
The Deluxe Screener is a powerful tool that lets you create queries about stocks, funds,
ETFs ( Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) are securities that hold a basket of stocks, bonds, or other investments, much like a mutual fund. Unlike funds, they trade throughout the day as stocks do. Most ETFs track an index, such as the S&P 500 or the Nasdaq 100. ) , and other investment information using several hundred statistical characteristics. The data is updated regularly, so you always have the latest information. A good way to get started using the Deluxe Screener is to Run saved or predefined Screener searches.
Create a custom search from scratch

- At the top of the page, click Investing, and then do one of the following:
- Click Stocks, and then in the left pane under Find Stocks, click Stock Screener.
- Click Funds, and then in the left pane under Find Funds, click Deluxe Screener.
- Click the first cell in the Field Name column, point to a category, and then click a name in that category.
- Click the first cell in the Operator column, and then click an option.
- Click the first cell in the Value column, and then click an option. Note that, in addition to the listed values, you can also choose:
- <Custom Value> Select this and then enter any value you want.
- <Ticker Symbol> Select this and then enter a ticker symbol.
- <Ask Me> Each time you run the search, you’ll be prompted to pick a value.
- Repeat steps 3 through 5 in subsequent rows of the query table until you’ve set up the query you want to run.
- To see the results of your query in the results pane below the search, click Run Search.

Create a custom search based on a saved or predefined search

- At the top of the page, click Investing, and then do one of the following:
- Click Stocks, and then in the left pane under Find Stocks, click Stock Screener.
- Click Funds, and then in the left pane under Find Funds, click Deluxe Screener.
- On the Deluxe Screener File menu, click Open.
- Next to My Saved Searches, click the plus sign (+).
- Click a saved or predefined search, and then click Open and Run.
- Change any of the search parameters, and then click Run Search.

Save a custom search

After creating a custom search using one of the methods above:
- On the Deluxe Screener File menu, click Save As.
- Type a search name and, if you want, a search description, and then click OK.

Note
You can compare your search results with other stocks, funds, and indexes. You can also compare search results to a Portfolio account. Learn more about comparing search results
Tips
- To see an explanation in the Field Description column, pause the mouse pointer over each name in the list, or click the name.
- To include a category in the results without having it affect the search results, in the Operator field, click Display Only.
